T.I Is Back In !

T.I. broke a personal record when he ended up back in Federal custody just hours after being released to a halfway house after serving just under a year in prison for violating probation . When T.I. was first taken back into custody it was reported that the reason he was being detained was because he'd used unauthorized transportation.  Turns out it wasn't the high end tour bus that got T.I. in trouble. It was who was on the high in tour bus that got T.I. in trouble...
Apparently the only person authorized to accompany T.I. on his trip from prison to the half-way house was his wife Tiny. T.I. was also forbidden from conducting any business during the three hour trip.
Somebody should have told that to VH1 because they had producers and camera crew on the bus filming the entire thing and that's why T.I. is back in jail.
The official reason: “unauthorized contact with the public” .

Fashion Yes !

It’s perfectly acceptable to mix gold and silver jewelry, but there are some simple rules that can help you do so with style:

• Keep your watch matched to the rings on that hand – it’s a good idea to match the metal of your wedding ring with your watch. You’ll be able to wear a ring in a different metal on the other hand though.
• Keep jewelry that is in close proximity the same metal – earrings and necklaces should be the same metal; rings and wrist adornments should be the same metal; belt and bag hardware should be the same metal.
• Keep all fine jewelry the same metal – if fine jewelry is all that you wear, it’s usually best to keep it either all gold or all silver.
• Ignore the above rules if the pieces that you wear are made of mixed metals themselves – jewelry or accessories that mix silver and gold will allow you match either metal.

A couple of things you don’t want to do:

• Wear gold and silver rings on the same hand
• Wear a fine gold and diamond wedding ring with a sporty silver watch on the same hand

This is a tricky subject to write about because there are exceptions to every rule. When in doubt, stick to wearing one type of metal at a time.

Rules Were Meant To Be Broken

These laws are just begging to be squashed.

1. Don't mix prints!

This rule is as outdated as they come. In fact, print-mixing has been one of the most prominent trends on the runways in recent seasons. I love it because it allows the wearer to take a risk in an unexpected way.

2. You can't wear white to a wedding!

OK. This rule DOES still apply to wedding guests!

3. Open-toed shoes are only for summer!

Not so, I say. As long as the shoe in question doesn't have a super summery sole (like cork or jute), feel free to add a pair of tights to take your favorite peep-toes or sandals into the next season.

4. Glitz and shine do not belong outside before sundown!

People of my dear grandmother's generation (but NOT my grandmother, who loves her glam 24/7) like to think that flashy garb during the day is a total fashion no-no. I disagree! When done tastefully, a little sparkle can spruce up the safest grey sweater, and a sequin cardigan can be the perfect complement to a plain tee and trousers.

5. Always match your purse to your shoes!

In the same vein as the above rule, this is totally outdated. In the past, being prim (a highly sought-after trait in a woman) was achieved by doing things like this, or like, always having coordinating nails and toes. Stir the pot by choosing shoes and a handbag in the same STYLE (i.e., Bohemian or preppy) but different colors/textures.

6. Never mix gold and silver jewelry!

No way, man. This rule is silly; pile it on tastefully. A well-edited collection of rings or bangles in different metals is actually very cool and sophisticated look.

7. Denim on denim is tacky!

Not always. When done wrong, I'll admit, the result is the always-hilarious Texas Tuxedo (see also: Canadian, or whichever state/country you're mad at). A hot new trend though is the worn denim shirt, which actually looks lovely paired with a darker or lighter wash of jeans.

Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White reprise their roles as the married couple and bring all their drama and dysfunction to the small screen. While TBS has ordered ten episodes of the show, if it launches successfully that order will hit 100. For Better or Worse is set to premiere November 23
