Tika Sumpter is the 2nd lady to pose for the cover of the revived digital magazine, VIBE Vixen.Tika Sumpter has gone from a soap opera actress to a bonafide "It" girl with roles on hit shows including BET’s The Game and Gossip Girl and spots in upcoming films such as Sparkle andThink Like A Man But with all her success, the actress, who covers Vibe Vixen , October 2011 issue. She admits she still feels the pressures of “maintaining a standard of beauty” in her industry. 

“I think there’s pressure on everybody; let’s not deceive ourselves. It’s definitely a beauty business,” she told the magazine “It [matters] how your face looks, how your body looks, how everything looks.… The blogs and magazines will be quick to show what’s wrong with a person, so I think there’ s a lot of pressure to try to maintain themselves as much as possible.”

The cover features a headshot of the actress — no fussy makeup, flashy clothes or piled on accessories, just her glowing skin, rosy makeup and softly curled hair. It really doesn’t look like Tika will be crumbling under the “pressure” anytime soon, but even if she’s aware of it, she also noted: “I don’t believe that everybody has to live up to this Hollywood beauty standard, because everybody’s not that.”
